At the lowest power, it gives users the ability to search electronic text streams for assertion structure matches. In other words, users can make a natural language assertion (such as "The car hit a tree") and the specified text database will look for any assertion that matches it in content, such as "The Pinto spun out of control and ended up in a grove at the side of the road." At higher powers, currently under development, assertions will be transformed according to spatial, temporal, process, and contextual relations of the users own choosing, allowing matches on complex structures and inferential matches.
